It is a special equipment for removing the generator rotor for maintenance and insert it back after the maintenance. The original method to remove and install generator rotor by drawing the chain block manually is no longer necessary.
The generator rotor can be removed and installed into the specified position safely at one time under the electric button control. The device is equipped with a clutch design. After gear separating, the wire rope can be quickly retracted and released with the hand wheel (the maximum traction force is 23t).
The principle of the device for removing generator rotor is: Connect the flange dedicated for removing generator rotor to the excitation side of generator rotor, assemble the balancing pulley group, connect it with the device then remove the rotor with a wire rope.
The principle of the device for inserting generator rotor is: Insert the rotor into the generator stator by reacting force. Mount the fixing pulley block dedicated for the device to pull out and insert the generator rotor on the screw hole of generator stator end surface, and push the rotor into the stator chamber by reacting force through the matching extended shaft and small cross beam.
The device for removing and installing generator rotor is designed with two output speeds which can be used alternatively during operation.
